Detailed introduction
There are two kinds of wollastonite: needle-shaped wollastonite cotton and wollastonite powder. The needle-shaped wollastonite cotton is resistant to acid and alkali chemical corrosion. Its length-diameter range is 18:1 to 20:1, which has a strengthening effect. The strengthening effect increases with the increase of the length-diameter ratio. Wollastonite powder belongs to calcareous metasilicate minerals, which has a good friction increasing effect. Wollastonite cotton is equivalent to Grade 6 asbestos reinforcement effect in non-asbestos products. Wollastonite cotton and a small amount of fibers with good strength have sufficient friction material products, so it has been widely used by many friction material factories and companies.
